Background Prof. Dr. Randolf Isenberg outside of PPCI consultancy and research:

After finishing his studies at the RWTH-Aachen, Germany he started his career at Philips Research Hamburg as a research project leader and more than 30 scientific publications on  international conferences. 

In Daimler-Benz / Airbus Deutschland GmbH he was responsible for  process optimization between engineering and production and controlling of industrial projects. After finishing the five-stages education at the controller academy of Gauting he lead the programm controlling of Airbus long range and wide body serial and development segment. 

After the industry work, Randolf Isenberg started a scientific and educational career as Professor for Productionmanagement at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences:

  • Overall responsible for project management in the department of 50 professors for mechanical engineering and production and the introduction of more than 9 bachelor and master study courses. 
  • Further lectures in Global Customer Processes Management Techniques and the management aspect and technological demonstration of IoT technologies as  collaborating robots CoBot, Mobile Robotics, Man-Machine-Interface with the heading challenges of IoT. 
  • In the course of his working as a professor, he is researching for methods to valuate automation potentials and develop a holistic procedure model in cooperation with Airbus, Lufthansa Technik and other hamburg universities and the new ZAL (center for aerospace research). 

Prof. Dr. Randolf Isenberg is right now responsible at the HAW for CoBot and Emotional/Communication Models.

He is board of the management of the Hamburg Center of Aviation Training (HCAT+).

He is responsible for the IoT eduction as part of the CCNF - competence center for new flying of HAW-Hamburg.
